XOC BAJA TOURS

After six years working and discovering the different areas in Baja California Sur, we decided to set out on this adventure to offer customized experiences focused in preserving nature.

Our mission is mainly to create environmentally friendly unique life experiences. To this effect, we cooperate with local communities in order to encourage awareness and a sustainable use of their local wonders.

TOURS AND EXPEDITIONS

We are based in La Paz and Cabo Pulmo, but we also offer our services in the other state natural areas and in Revillagigedo Archipelago (Socorro Islands).

We offer diving experiences for both certified divers and beginners, diving courses, whale whatching tours (in-season) and snorkeling or apnea expeditions to discover the area’s pelagic life. Furthermore, all activities count on our specialized team members and some drinks and snacks are included.

We aim to offer you some warm and personalized attention in small groups. Our dedicated and seasoned local captains and guides will render your experience unique.

LA PAZ

Visit Espiritu Santo National Park, a jewel in the Sea of Cortes. Enjoy plunging in their turquoise waters, discovering their sea lion colonies, the shipwrecks and coral reefs. When in-season, swimming with the biggest fish in the ocean, the whale shark, will be also possible at the Whale Shark Sanctuary in La Paz Bay.

CABO PULMO

Fall in love with one of the most important preservation examples in the world. Thanks to Pulmo’s local community efforts, fish population increased of 400% since it was established as a National Park. LA VENTANA - CERRALVO

The passage between Cerralvo Island and La Ventana is one of the most visited spots along the Sea of Cortes. Dolphins, whales, marlins, giant manta rays and many other species will be passing by while you explore some fascinating and full of live diving spots as La Reina, and what is more, every year the bay receives some mobula ray groups to be enjoyed between April and May.

Visit the Cabo San Lucas Natural Area where the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez meet. Take a souvenir photo and also dive in El Arco, one of the most impressive geological monuments. Undoubtedly, Cabo San Lucas and the Corridor have many surprises to offer you due to its reefs full of life and the visit of humpback whales in winter.

BAHÍA MAGDALENA

Explore the unknown at this unique spot where the community has been living off the sea for generations. Thanks to their help we will be able to discover the hidden treasures waiting for us in the Pacific and its bays. Come from October to January to enjoy our pelagic expeditions and be surrounded by marlins, dolphins, whales and many others! Then, from January to March, we will have the luck to admire the gray whale coming to visit us looking for our warm waters to deliver its calves.

The place where dreams come true is waiting for you. 230 miles south of the Baja California peninsula, in the Pacific Ocean lies the Revillagigedo Archipelago. Through a 10-day live-aboard trip, you will enjoy diving in emblematic places such as Roca Partida, the Canyon or the Boiler. Giant mantas, dolphins, tuna and sharks of more than seven different species will make you enjoy one of the best dive sites in the world.

RESERVATION AND CANCELATION POLICIES

All prices are expressed in MEXICAN PESOS (MXN). Payment can also be made in DOLLARS (USD) according to the exchange rate of the day.

20% of the total will be required upon reservation of a tour as a DEPOSIT (50% for groups from 3 people up). This deposit may be used to cover any company expenses that might have occurred upon any customer’s cancelation and for any unconnected reasons to the company.

A FULL REFUND will occur when the company cancels the activities on the grounds of force majeure, such as adverse weather conditions.

All deposits might be paid off in cash, through wire transfer, Wise or Bizum (ask for further specific details for each payment method).

The remaining due balance will be paid in cash before starting any activities on the day of the events.
